    Following a programme with a full-time curriculum
    Text:

A full-time curriculum has at least 27 credits per academic year. Enrolling in a full-time curriculum while maintaining your unemployment benefits is only possible if the public employment service of your community grants you an exemption from staying available for the labour market.

The conditions and procedure to apply for this dispensation depend on the public employment service of your community. Depending on your residence, you can apply at the following public employment service:

    • Flanders: VDAB (in Dutch only)
    • Brussels Capital Region: ACTIRIS (in Dutch and French only)
    • Wallonia: FOREM (in French only)
    • German Community: ADG (in French and German only)
