    For students with a scholarship of the Flemish Community the administration runs a bit different. What is important to know?

    Apply as a scholarship student

    During your application you can indicate what applies to you on the page 'social services'.

    ! The 'scholarship' part of this page is meant for Belgian citizens or for holders of a Belgian residence permit. Tick the box if you have applied for or received a scholarship of the Flemish Community. If you have not applied for a scholarship, you can leave this part of the page blank. 

    Students with a student visa are not eligible for a scholarship of the Flemish Community.

    Tuition fee for scholarship students

    The tuition fee for a scholarship student in the academic year

    2016-2017

    • EEA STUDENTS (or equivalent) € 105
    • NON-EEA STUDENTS (= VLIR and BTC scholars) € 230,00 fixed plus € 11,00 variable (= per credit)

    2017-2018:

    • EEA STUDENTS (or equivalent) € 106,90
    • NON-EEA STUDENTS (= VLIR and BTC scholars) € 234,10 fixed plus € 11,2 variable (= per credit)

    Enrolments under exam contract, advanced master's programmes, postgraduate programmes, PhD's and permanent training programmes have a separate tuition fee calculation. Consult the tuition fees for more information

    Tuition fee for almost scholarship students

    Almost scholarship students don't pay the full tuition fee.

    2017-2018

    • EEA STUDENTS (or equivalent) € 234,1 fixed plus € 4,10 variable (=per credit)
    • NON-EEA STUDENTS not eligible
