      VUB PhD Cup: FINALS


    • The Academy has concluded bilateral agreements with Academies worldwide. The aim of cooperation agreements with a number of foreign Academies is to exchange researchers regularly for short periods of time.

    • Pitching your research to obtain an FWO grant, giving an interview about your research on television, presenting at a conference (without harvesting snores), trying to get buy-in from industry partners to invest in your research, selling your research skills in a job interview… The need for public speaking skills is ever-present, both in the academic and in the non-academic world.

    • Ethics and research integrity helps ensure your research is of real benefit to society. But what rules do you need to follow? And what should you do when you face an ethical dilemma?

      The Legal and Ethics Office will organise a series of focused training sessions this semester to help VUB researchers deal with ethics and research integrity. The sessions are designed to provide a clear introduction to ethics and integrity issues, and will focus on practical issues. The sessions are intended for researchers from the PhD level and above.
