    Join the One Million Step Challenge

    Do we really move enough? The corona safety measures mean that many of us have been following online classes. But we shouldn’t forget that moving contributes to a better quality of life. It’s suggested that 10,000 steps a day is a good basis for a fit and healthy life. And who doesn’t want to be fit and healthy in these strange times?

    ONE MILLION STEP CHALLENGE

    ​​​​​​​You can register with a team of up to four people. Between 3 and 31 December, take a total of 1 million steps. You can walk to the supermarket, at home while cooking or cleaning or during the breaks of the online classes. You can dance it out in your living room, go for a long relaxing walk or a intensive run, every step counts!

    And you may well ask, what’s a challenge without a prize? The best reward of course is that you’ve already laid down good intentions for 2021, but in January prizes will be awarded via a tombola to teams who succeed in walking 1 million steps in December.

    The icing on the cake: the Movement and Sports department promises to 
    donate €100 to the Caroline Pauwels Emergency Fund for students for each VUB team that completes the challenge.
