Online exams on-campus or a toilet break during an exam?

Want to take an online exam on-campus? Request a desk on time! (Deadline: December 1st)

In order to limit the further spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, the upcoming exams will be organized online as much as possible. Students who, due to circumstances, are not able to take the exam at home in a quiet way, can turn to Student Counseling.

Applications for an exam seat on-campus should be sent by email to begeleiding@vub.be before 1 December 2020.

Places are limited and will be reserved for students with the greatest need:
    • Students with Reflex status.

    • Students who prefer not to take an exam with webcam surveillance because of privacy issues.

    • Students who cannot take the exam at home or on their own laptop due to internet or computer problems. (You can also borrow a laptop from the VUB: more info).

    • Students who don't have a quiet place at home where they can take the exam.

    • Students who, due to socio-emotional, family, psychiatric or medical circumstances, need an exam location on campus.

Strict hygiene and social distancing measures apply to online exams taken on campus. You take the exam on your own laptop or on a laptop of the VUB, you will also be supervised.

    Toilet break during an exam

Students who need to use the toilet during an exam for medical reasons can provide a medical certificate and an overview of the courses for which they wish to apply for a toilet break. You can e-mail this to Study Guidance at reflex@vub.be. The deadline for this is also 1 December 2020.
