    Report phishing

Companies don't usually ask for sensitive information by e-mail or phone. Be alert when somebody contacts you and requests this information. If you receive a suspicious e-mail, please contact our ICT helpdesk at helpdesk@vub.be. Add the e-mail as an attachment. Please don't forward the e-mail as technical information the ICT helpdesk might need could be lost.

As of December a button will be added in your VUB Outlook e-mail to report phishing. Then you will be able to select the phishing attempt, click the button and it will be automatically flagged with our ICT department.

Did you give someone your login details? Change your password immediately. Did you give someone your bank details? Contact your bank immediately and block your card with CardStop. Also useful if your bank card gets stolen.
