Going Abroad: What's in it for you?

There are loads of opportunities to go abroad while you are studying at VUB and loads of good reasons why you should look into it. Figures have shown that those who do spend time abroad

    • double their chances of employment a year after graduation,
    • 1/3 of Erasmus+ trainees are offered jobs in the company where they worked,
    • Erasmus+ alumni find their first job faster and tend to earn 25% more, and
    • 3/4 employers say volunteering is a + for job seekers *

    Going abroad allows you to:

    • Create an international mindset
    • Develop a global network of friends
    • See the world while studying or doing an internship
    • Grab a once in a lifetime opportunity
    • Increase your self-confidence
    • Improve your language skills.
