    we.KONEKT: Students Meet alumni

    Thursday, 4 April, 2019 - 18:00
    Atomium
    Place de l'Atomium, B-1020 Brussels
    weKONEKT
    Network event

The faculty of Sciences and Bio Engineering Sciences of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and its student associations would like to invite you for the second edition of the “we.KONEKT: Students Meet Alumni”.

This project was started last year with the purpose to create a network between alumni, students and academic staff of the faculty of Science. For students this is a chance to meet alumni from our university and ask them questions about their possible future. While alumni get the chance to share their work experience, to network or to look back on the good old days as a student.

Because the Vrije Universiteit Brussel will be celebrating its 50th birthday this year, the theme was set to be “The golden years of the VUB”. In that mindset there will be a photo exhibition of the last 50 years.

We will start with a reception, where you can eat and drink something, followed by the introduction of the alumni. By allowing students, professors and alumni to sit around the same table per study orientation we’ll give them a chance to ask questions to one another.

The event will take place in the Atomium in the ‘Prigogine’ hall, but you’ll be welcomed at the reception downstairs.
