    Short description:

    Are you eager to use R for your statistical analyses, but don’t know where and how to start? Then this short workshop is ideal for you!

    The aim of this workshop is to introduce R to new users and to highlight the benefits and possibilities of the R program in statistical analyses. During an 8-hour course (4-hour sessions divided over 2 days) I will provide an introduction into the R-language, the application of R in data-analysis, the organization of your data in an R-compatible way, and the procedures to graphically represent your results. Note that this workshop does not address advanced topics of data-analysis in R.

    Applying the R software package in statistical data-analysis

    Previous knowledge:

    Basic understanding of statistical analyses (descriptive statistics, distributions, regression, anova) is required.

    * Introduction to the R-language and practical use of R

    * Descriptive statistics in R

    * Visualising data in R

    * Multiple regression analysis and analysis of variance in R

    Study material:

    Will be provided by the lecturer
